*Gas connections (must be gas certified.)
*Venting sheet metal, rough-in, and final connections.
*Cabinet work

BC driver's license with a proven clean abstract.
You must be bondable.
Detail-orientated with problem-solving skills.
Willing to commute to North Vancouver daily.
Experience with customer service skills.
Must be fluent in English.
Have a good attitude.
The primary focus is the installation of high-end appliances into our client's home cabinet locations. This involves uncrating and locating, using supplied special dollies and other equipment, into the installation area.
Cabinets are inspected before installation for damage and correct service rough-in locations. These are noted and documented before proceeding for errors.
Using Alpine-designed equipment and protection devices, we ensure that NO damage occurs to the cabinet and flooring during the installation process. For that same reason, all working surfaces are protected with blankets and other protection systems. This is a must!
All the electric and plumbing water services are connected to units as required and pressure tested before appliance installation.
With vented appliances ducting is connected, adjusted, and sealed.
Our installers complete the cabinet door panels and handles on integrated appliances. This is one of our specialties. These are fitted and adjusted to within specifications, some with tolerances of as little as 1-2 millimeters.
You must have skills, a sharp eye, and an understanding of multiple trades to do this.
Training is supplied, and upgrading skills are always encouraged, welcome, and supported with training. Pride of artistry is a crucial factor and enjoyment for all installers. Nothing is better than looking back over the day and appreciating your hard work as done! Our customers really appreciate the work we do.
As a gas fitter, connections are made to code and tested.
Our work takes us from rough-in to finishing and completing all plumbing, electrical, gas, venting, and cabinet door and handles installations. Once completed, all appliances are run and tested to ensure function before we hand the project over to the client.
A quick overview of their new units is always supplied if the client is on site.
