When searching for an appliance installer, it can be extremely difficult to know who to trust — especially when prices vary widely.
At first glance, many services appear similar, and comparing quotes based on price alone can feel like the easiest way to decide.
Unfortunately, this is often where costly problems begin.

Appliance installation today is a skilled trade.
It involves more than just a truck and a set of tools. Proper installation requires technical knowledge, product training, physical infrastructure, and experience solving problems that don’t always appear until the appliance is being installed.
Not all installation companies have the background, skill sets, or shop facilities needed to create safe,

Modern installations frequently involve tight cabinet tolerances, electrical modifications, venting adjustments, structural considerations, and manufacturer-specific requirements.
When installers lack proper training or experience, the results can include fire hazards, electrical failures, leaks, damaged cabinetry, voided warranties, or unsafe appliance operation.
These risks often cost far more t

Many low-cost installers or handymen also operate without proper business licenses, liability insurance, or Workers Compensation Board (WCB) coverage.
This creates serious risk for homeowners. If an uninsured worker is injured in your home, the homeowner may be held legally and financially responsible — even though they played no part in the incident.

In recent years, we have also seen a growing number of websites that are designed to look like local installation companies, but are actually operated by offshore groups.
These sites often display fake five-star reviews, staged photos, and generic business claims to appear legitimate. Once payment is taken, service may be poor or nonexistent. In some cases, an untrained individual is sent to the h

Because of this, it is important for homeowners to ask the right questions before choosing an installer. Important things to ask and can be supplied to you with documentation include:
•
Are you fully licensed and insured?

Do you carry active Workers Compensation Board coverage?

Alpine Appliance Installation Ltd.

Once your package has been delivered, it's our job to check it over and uncrate it. This is to ensure none of the trim parts we require go missing!
It's always best to let the techs at Alpine uncrate and check your appliances. Leaving them crated until required for install saves them from damage occurring during construction.

We ensure everything is protected and checked before we start. At Alpine, we have specialized appliance moving equipment, from air sleds to customized clamping dollies to Teflon sliding plates, we ensure there is NO damage to floors or cabinets during our appliance installation work.
Most appliance installation companies do not have the experience to install panels and handles on integrated appliances. They may rely on the cabinet maker to install them who may be unfamiliar with the appliance as well. When Alpine installs the appliance and the panels, you get that flawless look, done by our professionals the right way.
Panels and handles make a fridge disappear into the cabinets. That's why its best to have Alpine technicians, install the fridge, panels and handles correctly as one unit. (Here the door is open from the upper right photo.)

So many hidden drawers!
Freezers, warming drawers, dishwashers and more. It takes training and skill to ensure a flawless, integrated appliance look.
